Question 1

How does Code Deb differ from pre-built software & standard SaaS?

Accepted Answer

We engineer custom software built around your exact business workflow. Unlike SaaS tools with recurring per-seat fees or rigid feature lock-in, you own the solution, data schemas, and deployment architecture outright.

Question 2

Who owns the source code and database?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the engagement. For custom-built software developed specifically for you, you own the source code, database structures, and production assets outright, with no proprietary hosting or closed runtimes. For our own SaaS products, delivered as a subscription service, we retain ownership of the underlying platform — you own your data and get full usage rights, the same way any SaaS works.

Question 3

How do we get started with a project?

Accepted Answer

We begin with a brief workflow discovery session or project planner review to scope requirements, timeline, and deliverables before delivering a fixed milestone roadmap.

Question 4

What is the difference between a website and a web application?

Accepted Answer

A website is usually the public experience people browse, while a web application lets users work with data and complete workflows. Many modern systems use both: an ecommerce storefront can be public while its catalog, inventory, orders, customers, content, and analytics are managed in a private web application.

Question 5

What technology stacks do you use for custom software?

Accepted Answer

We build modern web and mobile applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Flutter, prioritizing low query latency, strict typing, and high reliability.

Question 6

How do deployment and cloud security work?

Accepted Answer

We deploy dedicated, isolated cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or local cloud) with automated SSL, role-based staff permissions, encrypted databases, and automated daily backups.

Question 7

Can CodeDeb integrate with local payment gateways and POS hardware?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We natively integrate eSewa, Khalti, Stripe, IRD/VAT compliant billing systems, thermal receipt printers, barcode scanners, and legacy internal databases.

Question 8

What is the typical development timeline?

Accepted Answer

Most custom operational tools deliver in 4 to 8 weeks through 2-week iterative sprints, providing live staging previews at every major milestone.

Question 9

How is data migration handled from legacy systems or spreadsheets?

Accepted Answer

We clean, structure, validate, and import your historical records and Excel spreadsheets into the new relational database during the pre-launch phase.

Question 10

What support is provided post-launch?

Accepted Answer

We provide hands-on team onboarding, go-live technical standby, SLA software maintenance, and dedicated developer support for future feature additions.
